A home for paediatricians. A voice for children and youth.
Mental Health
The Mental Health Section is a network for paediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists and other health professionals who want to meet and exchange information about best practices for children and youth with mental health issues. The section is a forum for discussion, dissemination and advocacy, making recommendations through the CPS to promote the healthy development of children and youth.
Section fee: $24
Screening tools
To help paediatricians and other child health care providers recognize and diagnose mental health problems, the Canadian Paediatric Society has compiled a list of screening tools and rating scales for a number of different symptoms and suspected conditions.
