Canadian Conference on Child & Youth Mental Health

Building on the success of our 2024 gathering in Toronto, the CPS is planning a second “meeting of minds” for youth mental health for October 2027. Clinicians, researchers, youth advocates, and learners from across the spectrum of care are invited to meet over 3 days in the same host city for practical sessions on diagnosis, treatment, and system-level change.

We hope to draw at least 200 participants from across Canada with a program of lectures, interactive workshops and 'hot topic' discussions on common disorders, management strategies and approaches, and new opportunities and modalities for treatment and support. With our ‘mind’s eye’ to encouraging meaningful guidance and exchange of information and ideas, this event provides opportunities to explore perspectives, enhance clinical knowledge, and strengthen access and approaches to meet Canada’s mental health challenges.
