ACoRN Providers deliver care to babies who are at risk and/or become unwell in the first few hours or days after birth. Providers follow the current national standards of care relevant to their profession and experience and are required to regularly maintain their knowledge and skills in both ACoRN and NRP. ACoRN is an educational program and completion does not imply or regulate clinical competence.
Providers are required to renew their status every two (2) years by completing a ACoRN Provider course. An individual’s professional association or facility may require completion of ACoRN Provider courses more frequently.
