2025 CPS awards recognize outstanding contributions to paediatric healthcare

OTTAWA – The Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) has announced its 2025 award winners, honouring individuals who have achieved excellence in paediatric research, advocacy, health promotion, and education. The honourees are:

Alan Ross Award, Dr. Shoo Lee, University of Toronto and Mount Sinai Hospital.

Michel Weber Education Award, Dr. Nicole Johnson, University of Calgary

Young Investigator Award, Dr. Matthew Carwana, UBC Department of Pediatrics and BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute

Geoffrey C. Robinson Award, Dr. Catherine Birken, The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, SickKids Research Institute

Life membership 

  • Dr. Stacey Bélanger, University of Montreal, Sainte Justine Hospital
  • Dr. Mike Dickinson, Miramichi, New Brunswick
  • Dr. Mark Feldman, SickKids Hopspital and the University of Toronto.
