This learning module provides evidence-informed guidance on the health impacts of screen media use for children and adolescents, with a focus on development, mental health, and psychosocial and physical effects. Health care providers taking this course will be better able to guide families on appropriate screen time and use, help parents assess and change their own screen habits, and help them recognize and cope when their child or teen is having problems with screen-related behaviours.

Many jurisdictions worldwide have reported significant declines in the administration of routine childhood vaccines and in immunization coverage following the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic. This online module will provide health care professionals with strategies to identify patients who are not fully immunized, achieve catch-up for missing vaccines based on current guideline recommendations, and address barriers to vaccine uptake.
